Centralized policy layer

Defining, implementing, and maintaining complex business network policies can be an operational nightmare. All too often, the team that originally created the policies moves on, and new staff are left to struggle interpreting complex, nested conditional statements. That is, if they are lucky enough to locate where those policies are defined in the first place.

InkBridgePolicy provides a way to consolidate those disparate specifications into a centralized, easy-to-find place. It works with any database and any schemas already in place, and greatly simplifies the thankless job of expressing complex organizational and network policies.   

Flexible scripting for policies

For optimal performance and maintainability, we provide a high-performance, domain-specific scripting language (Unlang). We understand that nobody wants to learn yet-another-scripting-language but rest assured that Unlang is trivial for anyone who already knows at least one programming language. Unlang has been stripped down to the bare essentials required for defining policies (for example: there are no looping structures). The expressive simplicity makes it easier to understand for both the initial author, and the new guy who looks at the file five years later. 

While we recommend using Unlang, InkBridgePolicy can also work with any other common scripting language such as python, PERL, or javascript.
